A Cross-Country Eco-Video Project

Project DVD

Once our cross-country journey is completed, we'll have a collection of 35 five-minute video profiles of the renewable energy sites and various people we've interviewed about sustainable living, which we will put together onto DVD. We're planning to distribute this DVD free to science teachers nationally for them to use in the classrooms as a resource to teach about renewable energy and sustainable living. Instead of producing a linear, 2-hour documentary it will be much more useful for teachers to have a collection of 5-minute video profiles they can pick and choose from to suit what topic they're covering.

It is crucial that kids get to see what a sustainable future can look like, and they need to hear it from someone their own age!

We'll also be uploading each of our 35 five-minute videos to www.OurRenewableNation.org and to our YouTube channel. There you can subscribe to our videos so that as we finish editing and upload each video you'll be notified.

DVD discs are cheap and easy to duplicate, so we'll also be handing them out at presentations we give to kids, and we'll be encouraging everyone to make copies to give to friends and family.
