Our Renewable Nation

A Cross-Country Eco-Video Project

For the months of May and June 2009, our family toured the U.S. in our vegetable oil-powered VW Beetle as an eco-video travel project. We visited large-scale sites like wind and solar farms, as well as new companies with potentially game-changing technologies that will be key to a sustainable future.

We also interviewed people whose ideas and actions have inspired many to live more sustainably. 10-year-old Carrick, whose award-winning eco-videos have been seen online by over 1 million people, will narrate our videos.

Our goal is to distribute our video profiles free to schools nationally and online, with the mission of inspiring and empowering kids to create a renewable and sustainable future. Find out more about our project.
